O'reilly's opened its doors in November 2001, the passion project of Roger Johansen and his partners.

Roger eventually took the helm as the sole owner, pouring his heart into the pub until his passing on April 3rd, 2025.

Today, his daughter Stine Haug carries the torch, running the place with the same warmth and inclusive spirit that her father established.

O'reilly's walls hold plenty of secrets — the Irish pub was once a bank vault! To add to the unique character, the floor and parts of the interior were salvaged from an Irish church, giving the pub a truly distinct and soulful atmosphere.

One of Rogers goal was for O'reilly's to be the bar with the most TVs in Oslo. Thanks to Roger, visitors can enjoy all sorts of sports and events on a staggering 45 televisions spread through out the bar.
